Bio/Description
Winnie is from Fontana (not Montana), CA. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University in 2023 where she engineered muscle-mimetic materials from ion-responsive proteins under the guidance of Dr. Danielle Mai. Co-advised by Marcella Lusardi and Michele Sarazen, her current work focuses on designing materials for the depolymerization of polyethylene. Winnie is also passionate about DEI initiatives, science communication, sustainable fashion, and tennis.
