B.S., Chemical Engineering, Pennsylvania State University, 2021
Josh grew up in State College, PA and received his B.S. in chemical engineering from Penn State University in 2022. As an undergrad, he worked in the lab of Dr. Michael Janik, using DFT to investigate the electrocatalytic reduction of nitrobenzene and TNT over organometallic catalysts. In the Sarazen Research Group, Josh studies metal-organic frameworks as catalysts for sustainable energy and environmentally relevant reactions. He aspires to pursue a career in academia after graduate school. Outside of the lab, Josh is a lifelong fan of Penn State football, the Eagles, and the Sixers.
